So you have passed your ASA or RYA exams and you want to gain more experience.

You really do not feel like charter a yacht with a captain or not and go for a week vacation. Normally in trips like these the experience gained is very little. Join Altersail group for one or two weeks.

The trips have no official syllabus so you will be part of an active crew, working and living together. If you have an ASA / RYA skippers certificate then you will be given the chance to be responsible for the running of the yacht, under the supervision of the instructor. Even though you will be sailing for most of the time, when in port you will have ample opportunity to explore the islands you visit. Keep in mind that you have to be prepared that we are sailing in open sea with legs of 70+ miles and there is a possibility of sea sickness.
