Hollywood’s Favorite Pendant Necklaces

We can’t help but watch as our favorite actresses and pop stars mix and match jewelry to create unique looks that are fashion forward and fabulous. One of the top trends we’ve noticed is the wearing of multiple pendant necklaces of different lengths and shapes. With so many options to choose from, it’s easy to create a one-of-a-kind everyday look.  

Lucky charm pendant necklaces are hot right now. Some of the most popular designs are the classic four leaf clover, the fortune cookie and the horseshoe charm, which has adorned the necks of trendsetters from Cameron Diaz to Sarah Jessica Parker on Sex in the City. Whether these necklaces really bring luck is up for debate, but one thing’s for sure – the starlets who wear them sure look great!  

A personalized pendant is always a nice touch. Rachel Bilson wears an engraved one around her neck, while other styles include letter cut outs and handwritten scripted names. These necklaces are versatile enough to be worn with anything in your closet and make a great gift. Eva Longoria Parker even has a number 8 pendant, which is her husband’s basketball jersey number. Any necklace that holds special meaning is always at the top of our list of fashion ‘Dos’  

This year, peace sign jewelry is making a comeback, in the form of dainty charms and pendant necklaces. For an updated twist on this 60s fad, try a necklace with guitar and peace sign charms, a peace dog tag pendant or one engraved with the Chinese symbol for peace. Good intentions abound, you’ll look a little boho chic while you’re stylin’ around town.  

For a little edgier necklace, imitate Becki Newton and try a dagger shaped pendant. This rough and tough charm adds just enough toughness to contrasting feminine pieces. No matter what charms you choose, go ahead and pile them on – after all, that’s the look of the season.
