1. To sell gold or silver on eBay, you first need to find old or unused jewelry in your house. Look for broken chains, rings missing diamonds, or jewelry that you don’t wear anymore.

Once you have found gold or silver to sell on eBay, make sure that it is real gold or silver. The easiest way would be to take it to a pawn shop and have them authenticate it for you. You can also buy a home kit to test your jewelry.

2. Next, weigh you gold or silver. Buyer’s will want to know the exact weight down to the grams. You can take your gold or silver to a jeweler and have them weight it. If you cannot find one, you can purchase a jewelry scale from eBay for as little as $20.00. Whatever you do, make sure that you know and list the exact weight of your gold or silver. Another good idea is to list the karat of the metal if you know it.

3. Wear your product for advertising and when someone asks about a piece, you can pull out your case and make a sale. You can then place the gold or silver in a mailing envelope and send it. Make sure that you get tracking confirmation on all packages you send!

6. Another way is sending out links to all everyone in your address book. Set up an account with PayPal and allow people to purchase online. If you can come up with a catchy name and get good search engine wording in your site, then you may be surprised about how many orders will come in.
