A Contemporary Car With Lots Of Tech Features : The 2010 Acura TL

 

Acura’s 2010 TL is an entry level luxury vehicle that offers a sporty profile, excellent safety features, reliability, luxury and Acura’s dependability. It competes in the entry-level luxury market and goes head to head with the 3 Series from BMW, Mercedes C Class and the Infiniti G37. The most noticeable aspect about the TL is its pointed and sharp front grille. The body consists of smooth and powerful lines and swooping C-pillars. It is the sporty AWD trim level that is more on par with sporty and performance based luxury cars like the 3 series while the base model is a more sedate and more comparable to vehicles such as the Lexus ES.

The interior is extremely contemporary with lots of advanced technological features. Touches of leather and aluminum can be found inside the cabin giving the TL a luxurious feel. If you opt for the Technology Package you get cool features like an 8” navigation screen with up to date weather and traffic news. The optional navigation system comes with voice recognition which allows you to perform functions such as change cd discs or input an address without lifting a finger. The GPS Linked Temperature Control system (included with Technology Package) actually monitors the sun’s position in order to keep each side of the car at the designated temperature. Cargo space for the front wheel drive is at 13.1 cubic feet. The standard audio system comes with 8 speakers and a 8 inch subwoofer for 276 watts of sound. There is a USB interface so you can plug in your music player plus the cd changer plays mp3 and wma files.

Acura has incorporated numerous safety systems into its TL. The ABS system works to aid you in maintain control during abrupt stops. The Vehicle Stability Assist system works to keep the auto stable during understeer or oversteer incidents. The Advanced Compatibility Engineering distributes crash force evenly during impact in order to reduce the force of the crash being transferred to the passengers. The TL comes with a 6 air bags consisting of two front bags, two front side bags and two side curtain bags for maximum protection.

The base price is around $35k and may increase depending on the trim model and optional packages selected.
