Selecting The Perfect Jewelry For Her

The good-looking young man had a puzzled look on his face. He seemed to wander up and down among the cases displaying jewelry of all types. He didn’t know if his girlfriend would like a crystal necklace but they were pretty.

He knew she often wore a necklace. She wore them with sweaters every day. But, she also wore them with low-neck dresses.

But maybe she had all the necklaces she wanted. She could always add one more to her collection he thought. There was one with pale gold stones that seemed appropriate. Gold matched any color sweater he decided.

He stopped at that display case and stared at the three in gold. One had a single stone suspended on a gold chain. He asked about the cost of that one.

He examined the necklaces with more than one stone and decided they were intricate and delicate. He liked those. Then his thoughts turned to earrings. There were a lot of those to look at.

Changing his thoughts to earrings, he went to that display case. There were rows upon rows of rhodium earrings. He talked to the saleslady about what they were made of. She smiled indulgently as she told him.

It was obvious that he didn’t know much about jewelry. She told him a little about prices and why they were different depending on the materials used. She saw him turn his gaze toward the earrings.

He looked them over as he told the salesperson about the celebration he had planned for Grace’s twentieth birthday. First he would show up with flowers. They would go to dinner at a restaurant they both liked. The restaurant had his reservation already.

He had called to arrange for them to bring out a small cake after the meal was over. Of course, they would sing the birthday song as they set it on the table. Chocolate was her favorite. Fortunately, it was his too. They seemed to have so many things in common.

Next, they could walk around at the lakefront, talking and laughing. If it was raining, he knew just what movie he’d take her to. He was an intelligent and thoughtful young man who knew what she would like.

Then his eyes lit up when he saw one certain pair of swarovski earrings. They were substantial and long. He was sure they would look great against her slender neck.

He could visualize her delight as she opened the box on her birthday. These were the ones. These were perfect as the special birthday present he wanted to give Grace on her special day. Beauty for beauty he mused as he smiled on his way out of the store.
